CENTER OVERVIEW
The Center for Pharmaceutical Research (CPR) is a privately owned clinical research center specializing in providing Phase II, III, and IV clinical research services for the pharmaceutical, nutritional, and medical device industries. CPR is highly regarded for its quality data, and particularly, for its consistently high patient enrollment.

MEDICAL MANAGEMENT
John E. Ervin, MD, FACP, FACR
President and Medical Director


Dr. Ervin is the founder, President, and Medical Director of CPR and has been Principal Investigator on over 250 studies. Dr. Ervin earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and completed his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center was in Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology. Dr. Ervin is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is a member of the West Central Osteoporosis Board, serving in the past as Acting Director for the Osteoporosis and Imaging Center. Dr. Ervin is on the planning committee for the American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and on the board of directors of The Society of Pharmaceutical Physicians. He is past president and chairman of the board of The Arthritis Foundation for Western Missouri.
