DEMOGRAPHICS |
|
ACA’s patient population ranges from adult to geriatric men and women
with a broad range of cardiac indications and levels of disease. Primarily
Caucasian, our site does have a small population of other ethnicities and
races. Particular to ACA is the large population of French-Canadian descent
(which gives us a large population of hyperlipidemics) within this area
of the State of Maine. As one of the largest cardiology practices in Central
Maine and research departments in New England, ACA maintains a large database
of research volunteers representing a wide range of ages and indications.
